Lord's Grace Church is offering to the Christian community a ten seminar Certificate in Christian Foundations starting September 5, 2009 and ending June 5, 2010. Each seminar begins promptly at 9 am and concludes at 4 pm. Lunch is included.

The goal of Koinos Certificate in Christian Foundations is to make the essential tools of serious biblical and theological study available to busy adults. Formal academic credit is available through Carey Theological College.

An introduction to the essential doctrines of the Christian faith, focusing on what Christians have historically believed and providing a contemporary framework for reflection on the faith.

An introduction to Christian thinking about moral issues, surveying the different approaches taken by various theologians and traditions and developing a pattern of thinking for everyday ethics.

An introduction to the biblical and historical roots of Christian spirituality, the spiritual disciplines, spiritual direction, and the pursuit of personal and corporate holiness.

HISTORY OF CHRISTIANITY 101 - May 8

A bird's-eye view of the great epochs of Christian history from the earliest days in the Roman Empire through the middle ages and the Protestant Reformation to the evangelical movements of the 18th and 19th centuries and the rise of a truly global Christianity in our own time.

GLOBAL MISSION 101 - June 5

The story of the spread of the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the world from a handful of believers to a multicultural, transnational movement encircling the. The aim is to help individual believers and local congregations understand their role in missions today.
