Minister of Worship at First Baptist Church, Vancouver. A graduate of the
Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, she has a passion for
planning worship services that are both theologically sound and diverse in
style. She has led workshops around the world and seeks to help believers in

ministry for Inter-Varsity
Christian Fellowship of Canada. Her graduate degree is from
Eastern College of Pennsylvania (MEd). She has also done graduate studies in
art history at Edinburgh University. A lover of languages and the arts, she
has traveled to more than 70 countries, where she has been a close observer
of the diversity of human cultures and particularly of the interface between
the Christian gospel and the arts. She is a consulting editor of Christian
History, a contributing editor of Radix,
and on the board of Christians
in the Visual Arts. She has taught part-time at Regent College,
New College Berkeley, Eastern College, and Tyndale Seminary, where she currently serves
as adjunct professor of theology and culture. |

missionary and mother. She is also a contributing editor and member of the

Help the World’s Poor. |

CHRISTIAN ETHICS 101 - July 3 An introduction to Christian thinking about moral
issues, surveying the different approaches taken by various theologians and
traditions and developing a pattern of thinking for everyday ethics. Jonathan Wilson (BA, MCS, PHD) is the author of the award-winning
book, Why Church Matters: Worship, Ministry, and Mission in Practice; God So
Loved the World: A Christology for Disciples; and Gospel Virtues: Practicing
Faith, Hope, and Love in Uncertain Times. He is Pioneer McDonald Professor of
Theology at Carey Theological College. Prior to his recent return to
Vancouver (where began graduate studies and where he met his wife, Marti), he
taught at Westmont College and Acadia Divinity College. |
